| Angel is a charismatic 'natural tough guy' with few
intellectual pretensions and a daunting physical presence. A career
soldier from a military family, he joined up aged 17 and over the
last thirty years has gained skills in infantry warfare, including
airborne and seaborne ops, with a reputation as determined and phlegmatic,
if somewhat unimaginative. He failed AFV training owing to a personality
clash with his fellow course members, or so he says.
NCO at the age of 31, he specialised in Martial Arts and wilderness survival, and as a top footslogger, regularly coming first in cross-country forced marches in full pack. He is also fully rated in all forms of GF armour and personal weaponry, and is a qualified camouflage technician. He is recorded as 'atheist' on his dogtag-chip. He has no recorded next-of-kin and his will reads, in full: 'all to the sergeants' mess'. His main hobby is the music business; beginning as a roadie and doorguy, he has branched out into sound systems, special effects and lighting, and has even done a little DJ work. He is very careful with money, to the point of stinginess, and does not use any drugs. He left the Venerian forces three years ago "to travel and make some money so I can retire to my own farm". |
