Battle of Ultra  

Quadrant 7.  Grid 652102.  StarDate 3197.198

First contact battle against the Exterminators by the Sirian forces in the Ultra system.  
The SSR fleet, with little idea what they were getting into, responded to a distress call from one of their colonies.

Their tiny fleet was overwhelmed before it could take evasive action.  

From the confused reports, the attacker appeared to be just one Exterminator Super Battleship.

Only the very badly damaged destroyer, the SSS Vesky, escaped. All other ships were destroyed with the loss of all hands.

The Sirian Colonial government immediately appealed to neighbouring colonies for help, signalling the start of multilateral efforts to fight the Exterminators.
