Great Library Project

This is a major research and archiving project being conducted under the auspices of the Mald Academic Council by the Interstellar Archivists Institute.

The main aim of the project is stated as :

"Preserving the wisdom, creativity and culture of humanity for one million years".

The exact location of the world containing the project, Second Foundation is unknown at present, but it is generally understood to be kept secret an attempt to protect humanity's unique intellectual efforts from the consequences of the potential extinction of the species. The efforts appear to have become more urgent since the appearance of threats like the Exterminators and their builders.
