The History of Humanity Institute at Sturlson

The HoHI at STURLSON (Q0) is the foremost centre for historical research in the MAFC and particularly of Psycho-History. It specialises in the history of man since the first steps into space from Earth and is particularly focussed, not surprisingly, on Martian history.

It has a strong community within it associated with Old Mars. Other areas of interest include lost and failed colonies.

Some of the critics of the Institue suggest that it is a breeding ground for extremist ideas about the political future of Old Mars. The Institute has always strenuously denied this, citing its long standing principles of academic freedom of speach and free thinking.

The Institute also works with the Martian Forerunner Research Centre at NEW MARS.
