A very popular sport among the youger generation, particulary from poorer areas, where a hoverboard is often the only form of personal transportation juves can afford. The sport of hoverboarding has a strong following, and competitions, both legal and illegal are held on most worlds. There is even a Universal Hoverboard Championship. The most common championship game is a sort of obstacle race - the Board Run. There are also the more harcore variants - Freestyle, Extreme, and the highly illegal No Rules Racing. The current NRR Hoverboard champion is the notorious 'Freezer', who is wanted by a number of police departments across human space.
