Juggernaut Armour

An enhancement to the standard marine armour, with heavier protection with an offsetting loss to mobility.
These suits can take up to three standard SCA hits, but can only move at half the speed of a standard marine.

They were originally been developed by Government Researchers in the Wolf359 Commonwealth in response to the preponderance of heavy firepower found when boarding Exterminator Super Battleships.

They have not yet been used in combat and are not popular with front line marines who prefer mobility.

Reports suggest that whilst they have been issued, on the instructions of the Government, to the Royal Marines, most of them remain in store.
