Career
His research and life’s work is understanding how humanity has to demonise norm-breakers as criminal deviants. By changing planets and cultures Victor is adding to his understanding of how each culture differs and is yet the same in this.

Victor has never married. He has adopted children from most of the planets he has lived on.
Rebecca Kosmos-Smith (35, adopted daughter)
Ruth Kosmos-Smith (35, adopted daughter)
Ruth and Rebecca are identical twins adopted by Victor. He was studying them for his research (identical twins are nature’s little attempt at clones) when their parents died in a traffic collision. Victor is still in touch with them, but has no regular contact. They now work as security operatives for a Wolf359 based company.
Walter Kosmos-Kansaais (29, adopted son)
Walter was adopted by Victor after the initial success of his first adoption. Walter was a traumatised orphan, Victor hoped he could give him a better life. It was a trying time. Walter has not been seen for sometime by Victor or the rest of the family.

Vladimir Kosmos-Rochette (adopted son, about 26)
Vladimir was an orphan Victor met in one of his tenures at a hospital. Vladimir’s early years are unknown being a foundling.
Angel Kosmos-Pessoa (adopted son, about 12)
Victor’s most recent adoption. Angel was orphaned in a natural disaster as a young boy, of 8. Angel comes from a poor farming background. He has settled down nicely with Victor and Vladimir, getting into the usual mischief a young lad can.
Holly Zhang (not adopted, but living with the family, about 10)
She was an abandoned or lost child from Colony A on Colony 51. She lived in a hut with scavenged kit and food. Also she made friends with “Oscar” the dinosaur. Still traumatised by the experience but with care and attention she seems to be recovering.
