A world in Quadrant 1. Formerly a member of the Free Worlds Alliance.
Pratt has a ruling Planetary Diet. This is directly elected by the population. There are four main political parties; Live Free Party, First Pratt Party, Democracy and Freedom Party and the Community Party. Politics are fairly complicated due to the direct voting system.
Governments are usually formed as a result of deals and political coalitions common.

In 3207 Katelynn Mathiew became the President of the Diet. As president she navigated the complex world of Prattian political maneuvering and in 3212 led the planet in its participation as one of the original core members of the Federated Worlds of the Outer Quadrants (FWOQ)

President Mathiew stood down in 3226 to run for Federal office, as was elected Secretary General of the Federated Planets (and Chair of the Federal Senate).
