Shi'Ar

A very poor independent world in Quadrant Zero. Colonists on Shi'Ar mostly came from the GFA colony of Paradise, and this is the root of a long-standing rivalry with the neighbouring independent world of Kree. This conflict has not prevented the Shi'Ar from joining Kree as a founding member of the League of Non Aligned Worlds (LONAW).



Unfortunately, the Shiar government came under suspicion from Earth as supporting piracy in Quadrant 0, and was raided by an Earther Task Force. The government under President Lilandra fell and Lilandra was arrested by the Earthers for piracy, but was returned to Shi'ar for trial under Shi'arian law.
Shortly after Lilandra was acquitted and remains President to this day.


The planet voted to join the Wolf 359 Commonwealth in 3221 after falling out with LONAW over what they saw as over-lenient treatment of The Chosen by LONAW. Lilandra's local government is a staunch supporter of Wolf359 and she now has many close contacts in the upper echelons of Wolf society.
