Space Ghosts

Reports abound throughout human space of 'space ghosts'. These are radar contacts of what appear to be vessels under power (i.e. accelerating or decelerating) - but which show no burns and appear and disappear from radar.

Some frontier colonists report having actually encountered these ghost ships and their occupants, but virtually all witnesses have proved unreliable or fraudulent.

Despite extensive investigations from time to time - the existence or otherwise of so-called 'space ghosts' has never been established.
