X-Ship

A Class 5000 merchant modified to carry concealed ship to ship weaponry (including Heavy Missiles and HELL) and one-shot pacifiers, giving it the firepower approaching that of a light cruiser.

Originally designed to act as a disguised warship, due to technical limitations of the space-frame and power link systems these were never either cost effective or particularly surprising to their adversaries.
