!Interstellar Archivists Institute A very ancient organisation to which 99% of all professional archivists in all polities belong. Formed after the Second Dark Age 2831-2856, to ensure that future generations never have to face such a loss of cultural and scientific information ever again. Dedicated to the quality and efficiency of archives throughout the universe, they are the keepers of knowledge old and new - and are highly expert at data mining and information management. For a number of years now, the IAI has been working on the [Great Library] Project.
