!Admiral Grace Molloy MSN **Commander MSN Forces in Q7** !!Early Years Born in New Perth on Freyr (Q0) in 3155 to an Old Martian family with a long tradition within the military, allegedly dating back to the pre-spaceflight era on Earth. !!Early Career Having passed out top of her class in the Martian Naval Academy at the very young age of 30 her early career within the Mars Star Navy was marked by an enthusiasm for tactical operations. She earned a Special Commander's Commendation as a young thai-i (lieutenant) on the MSN MINERVA DDI when she led a covert scouting team to uncover a hidden pirate base in the 561AL system (Q0). On promotion to sho-sa (lt commander) she took up the role of executive officer on the MSN FIERCE CAI. Following this successful posting Molloy was appointed to the MSN Naval Staff College as a member of the Directing Staff, particularly leading the course on Small Unit and Anti-Piracy operations. Following this, she was appointed Thai-sa (Captain) on the MSN ASTURIAS BBI, deployed to Quadrant 7. !![Exterminator War] Just before the first contacts with the Exterminator threat was reported, Thai-sa Molloy was sent on an advanced tactics course on New Mars, and her ship went into action under her second in command Chu-sa Cleland. She returned to Quadrant 7 urgently, but arrived too late to resume command, and the MSN ASTURIAS was destroyed in the fateful battle of Baldar in 3197. It is reported that Molloy was affected by the loss of her ship and that she was unable to lead them in their final action. She was given the command of MSN Defiant CVI which she commanded with distinction throughout the War and into the post-war period. !!Post War Following the post war fleet re-building and reorganisation, Thai-sa Molloy energetically trained her crew, and eventually gained promotion to Sho-Sho (Rear Admiral) on the Quadrant Threat Assessment & Planning Staff. In this role she was involved in Operation TAKE DOWN in which the Martian Fleet (and allies) hunted down and destroyed significant Chosen fleet assets in the Outer Sectors. !!The Present In 3223, she was promoted to Chu-sho (Vice Admiral) and assumed command of the MSN fleet in [Quadrant 7].
