Qureshi

One of The Twelve Families of the Solar Republic.


The Qureshis are an old Tier Three family who have never been represented as First Citizen but who have an extensive private intelligence network and have long been known for breaking embarrassing stories about other families to the press. They have a tendency to ally with the Van Husens.

The Qureshi are known to have some familial relationships with the Wolf359 Commonwealth Royal Family and strong scientific links with a number of Maldenite Democratic Foundation institutions.

Much of their influence comes via long established links to Interstellar Network News (INN) for whom they have been known to provide funding and sources for political and scientific stories. The Qureshi also have deep links to the Imperial Audit Office and commercial links to Lexcorp and a number of non-Earth based scientific Corporations, often informally lobbying for these groups.

The Qureshis are interested in growth through investment in diplomatic and scientific endeavour rather than military strength.
