Early Years

Born on the independent world of Organia in Quadrant 4 in 3159, his parents were victims of the horrific Wild Card Virus outbreak there in 3174, when he was 15.[
Unable to stand the memories Shenko left Organia at the earliest opportunity to make his fortune in Quadrant 0, where he studied at the presigious University of Old Mars in the Hyama Dome, and then went on to a brief academic career on New Mars.

Current Career

A successful academic career let to recruitment by the Martian Government in 3204 and he became Chief scientific advisor to the Martian Minister of Science. Dr Shenko has advised successive Ministers, though his somewhat eccentric take on the universe has left previous ministers often somewhat bemused.

He is, however, acknowledged as exceptionally talented.

Other Achievements

He is a noted Lightsail yacht racer during and after his university days. His sail designs were widely copied and remain in use today.

He retired from the sport after the New Berlin Regatta Massacre – for which the court found him was entirely blamless.

He is a gourmet chef specialising in classical French cuisine. He speaks ancient French fluently and is a great connoisseur of Neo-French wines.
While his moustache retains its natural black colouring, he is rumoured to dye his hair grey to appear more distinguished.

His work on empirical methodologies has led to the successful development (and employment) of what has become known as The Shenko Method. Highly controversial in some academic circles, this protocol has an impressive record of unexpected success.
