Early Years

Born in New Brisbane on Freyr (Q1) in 3181 to literary and educational giants Will Spears and Emma Mansfield.

Early Career

Graduating from the MARS School of Journalism, Scarlett began her career as writer and editor of the GEMS Newsletter for the Government Employees Motivation Society.
Scarlett then wrote as a staff reporter for the Universe Quadrant News. She was soon named Media Chief of the interquadrant news desk with a specific brief to cover conflict. Noted for her fearless and relentless pursuit of a story, Scarlett’s focus is always on the civilian cost of war.

The Present

In 3240, Scarlett moved to the INN Quadrant 7 where she works as foreign affairs correspondent.
