Universe 'B'

An alternative universe that might offer the possibility of vastly improved interstellar transit speeds through one or more Dimensions. The physical laws of Universe B turn out to be slightly different to those of our Universe - and it supports life.

Universe B has been visited by researchers, albeit accidentally, but both times as a result of accidents in dimensional research labs. Research into this area has been discontinued in recent years due to the great danger involved.

Universe B is not the correct scientific terminology, though it is a reference to it being the second universe known to humanity (our own human universe being 'Universe A').
